During the full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine in 2022, the company refused to stop operations in the Russian market and join the boycott of Russia. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian subsidiary of the French "Auchan" has been paying taxes to the budget of the terrorist state, supplying goods to the Russian military in the occupied Ukrainian territories under the guise of humanitarian aid to civilians, and also assisting military enlistment offices in recruiting conscripts. It is known that in 2021, the revenue of the Russian division of Auchan amounted to 3.2 billion euros, which is approximately 10% of the total revenue of Auchan Retail.
As of June 30, 2022, Auchan Retail's revenue amounted to 15,380 million euros, which is 6.2% more than the previous year (+902 million euros).
