DMG MORI has 16 manufacturing plants and 113 sales and service centers in 88 countries worldwide. DMG MORI’s services cover the entire lifecycle of a machine tool, including training, repair, maintenance, and spare parts services.
In the Russian market, DMG Mori operates through the company LLC "DMG Mori Rus," which is 99% owned by the Switzerland-registered DMG Mori Sales and Service Holding, and 1% owned by DMG MORI Vertriebs und Service GmbH, Bielefeld. Additionally, DMG Mori manages a machine tool factory in Ulyanovsk (LLC "Ulyanovsk Machine Tool Plant"), which belongs to the German company GILDEMEISTER Beteiligungen GmbH, part of the DMG Mori group.
At the end of February 2022, DMG Mori announced the cessation of all sales and services in Russia, as well as the suspension of all production at its factory in Ulyanovsk. However, available information shows that certain Russian companies of DMG Mori remain active participants in the Russian market, which contradicts official statements that such entities, like LLC "DMG Mori Rus," are essentially non-operational and only perform administrative functions.
