Leroy Merlin

The French company is one of the largest European DIY retailers. Founded in 1923, it is part of the Adeo group, which belongs to the "Müller family association." The company entered the Russian market through its subsidiary Leroy Merlin Vostok in 2004. It has the largest network of DIY stores and is a leader in terms of "revenue per square meter of retail space."

Leroy Merlin Vostok is a systemically important enterprise in the Russian Federation, contributing significantly to the high-income part of Russia’s budget and being a major source of income for the Russian government. By doing so, it supports actions aimed at the violent change of Ukraine's constitutional order, the overthrow of state power, the capture of government authority, changes to the borders or the state border of Ukraine, and encroachments on Ukraine's territorial integrity and inviolability. These actions undermine democratic processes and institutions in Ukraine, threatening its peace, stability, security, sovereignty, and independence. In 2021, the revenue amounted to 456.6 billion rubles.
